Apokoronas is one of the most historic and beautiful areas of Crete, a landscape of wild mountains and fertile valleys. It was the place where emperors and lords of the Byzantine Empire would reside to enjoy the wealth and beauty of the land. In many places the Cretan architectural tradition developed from the 16th century onwards, has been influenced by Venetians.

Lithos, a small traditional house dating from 1800 and open to visitors since 2006 is located in the fine village of Tzitzifes, with close access to roads to the north and the south of Crete. The village has a kafeneion and there are two traditional Cretan restaurants about 700 meters from the house.

Lithos comprises two separate apartments built in local architectural style and offering all modern comforts. The use of natural materials such as wood and stone takes you back to other more simple and romantic times, allowing you to escape from your daily routine.

Both apartments have kitchen, air-conditioning, TV, bathroom and wood-burning stoves for winter. One of them has an old - style oven and a wine press. Outside there is a large vine-covered courtyard and a swimming pool.

Resevation policy: To make a reservation a 30% of the total amount has to be deposit in our bank account, which is not refundable. The rest amount is paid by the arrival of the guest
